We have a bone to pick with the Utah Tourism Commision about the weather today. The wind was in our face all day and very, very strong. It made the uphill climbs twice as hard and the downhills were like uphills.
We found out how the restaurant we ate at Sunday night got it’s name. Just outside Boulder the road turned up and after climbing for several minutes the road narrowed with steep drops on both sides, as if you were riding down hell’s backbone.
The ride ended today in Tropic a small city just east of the entrance to Bryce National Park. In all almost 70 miles of hard riding.
